Williamsburg

I had the most ridiculous day at work. The power was out so we sat around in the dark for most of the day. The few scattered hurricane lights set up made the fancy law firm look like a bomb shelter.

Visited a cool letterpress studio called The Arm in Williamsburg this weekend. Traded my tiny Kelsey for some work time. Can't wait to start!

Something To Aspire To

This is one of my favorite works of art. It's a (5 color, I think) lithograph by Pierre Bonnard called La Petite Blanchisseuse. It's right up my alley, I love small slices of life and all things French. I think it's very charming.

Bonnard is consider a minor impressionist for the most part, usually overlooked in favor of the heavy hitters. While they are very pretty, I'm not crazy about his paintings; however, I love his illustrations and lithography.
