Because I spend all my money gambling at the greyhound track* this summer, I hadn't the money to replace my broken window unit, and come June I had to problem solve using the lessons learned from my days as a very broke recent post grad. Though, in the spirit of full disclosure, I missed that really hot week in July this year--I was luxuriating in my parents' central air. I never would've made it through otherwise.
