I'm trying to think up something halfway insightful to say, but I'm a wee bit brain dead tonight. I'm having a glass of wine and watching a stupid teen movie and cleaning my room at commercial breaks.

So here's the photo. I have an affinity for this picture, the same way I have an affinity for boys with messy hair, the skin on Jell-o, and flip flops--I don't know if it's particularly good, but it's likeable and it charms me.

I took it in Venice. It's her finger resting on that selzer bottle that kills me. Such a thoughtful look on such a little girl.
